Present: ajak, arthurzam (proxy for mattst88), dilfridge, gyakovlev, mgorny, sam, ulm 


GLEP 78 update
==============

mgorny proposed some clarification patches to GLEP 78, inspired by the
recent media types work.

Motion: Approve the GLEP 78 changes.
Result: 7 yes, 0 no, 0 abstention. Motion passed.


Open bugs with council participation
====================================

- Bug 176186 - "Gentoo projects file hosting"

  Council hadn't yet been un-CCed as agreed before, so agreed
  to do it now.


Open floor
==========

- ajak asked if there was any update on the Foundation umbrella situation,
  but no response.

- sam noted he was concerned about the upcoming Clang 16 release breaking
  a large number of packages and was writing a summary for the gentoo-dev
  mailing list.

- mgorny noted he'd sent metadata.xml GLEP 68 updates to the mailing list
  and said he'd likely request a Council vote via Bugzilla in a week or so,
  as he wanted it approved before pursuing the media type registrations.

  Council agreed that a minor GLEP version change would be appropriate.
