EAPI=9 changes
==============

use.stable and package.use.stable
---------------------------------

sam noted that we are lacking a way of testing USE changes in profiles
on ~arch without subjecting stable users to them immediately.  He
indicated that this kind of change would have been useful during
the Plasma 6 transition, and it will hopefully be useful for Python
and Ruby as well.  He pointed out that it would be symmetric
with the existing package.use.stable.mask and package.use.stable.force
files.

arthurzam asked if the files could be used depending on ebuild EAPI
rather than profile EAPI.  ulm replied that it would be unsystematic
and likely not possible in a consistent way.

Drop eclass revisions

arthurzam pointed out that there is no specification or implementation
for this feature.  sam pointed out that the topic came up in a number
of meetings, and the authors have informally agreed to drop it.

Bugs 948684, 948686 - Missing meeting summaries

The bugs were skipped because of dilfridge's absence.


Bug 936211 - [Tracker] Gentoo Foundation dissolution
----------------------------------------------------

robbat2 indicated that he is waiting for SPI to post April & May
financials.  He thinks that the monthly income via SPI now exceeds
the monthly expenses, so they can be moved over.  He also indicated
that he would like to move the future Council meetings to take place
after SPI meetings.


Open floor
==========

mgorny left a note to the next Council to collect "emergency" contacts
in case members do not show up to the meeting.

robbat2 repeated the request for photographs of Gentoo logo used
in the wild, ideally during conferences.  ulm indicated that they have
some images from FOSDEM.
