Bug 961301 - [Tracker] Requests for metadata/AUTHORS [2]
--------------------------------------------------------

Two individual requests were reviewed:

1. Bug 730200 - metadata/AUTHORS: inclusion / prior employers [3]

   robbat2 confirmed that all listed commits are properly copyrightable by
   the respective entities and that his employment agreements permitted
   upstreaming. ulm indicated this is sufficient. No Council vote deemed
   necessary. Action: Commit the relevant AUTHORS entries.

2. Bug 959157 - Request for listing "Eli Schwartz" in metadata/AUTHORS [4]

   Commits list provided; considered clear and uncontroversial. No
   objections. Action: Commit the entry as provided.

Action (AUTHORS overall): ulm, robbat2 or ztrawhcse to commit the agreed
changes following the meeting.

Bug 936211 - [Tracker] Gentoo Foundation dissolution [5]
--------------------------------------------------------
No substantive change since last month. Trademark status updates
expected later in the month; transfer to SPI is still the intended path.
Financial reporting with SPI continues to improve; broader SPI-side
effort underway to enhance reporting for larger fund holders. No
actionable items this cycle.

Bug 961811 - Token2 PIN+ security keys procurement [6]
------------------------------------------------------
Discussion focused on evaluating Token2 devices as an alternative to
Nitrokey and Yubikey offerings.

Key points:
- Desire to obtain a small evaluation batch (3-4 units) before any wider
  roll-out.
- Shipping appears to be ~7 EUR to most destinations.
- Mechanical considerations: USB-C mini variant width ~15 mm (+ ~2 mm
  lanyard loop); concern about adjacent port interference to be
  validated.
- Reliability concerns with prior Nitrokey batches: many devices failed;
  replacement logistics / warranty friction justified planning for
  spares with any new vendor.
- Fulfillment model: Interest in a vendor-run portal similar to prior
  Nitrokey arrangement (developer authenticates + shipping info;
  Foundation billed directly).
- Need to test NFC (OpenKeychain / Android) support; tamiko to attempt
  and report.
- Include at least one US-based developer in sample group to check for
  any tariffs on import.

Motion: Obtain 3-4 Token2 sample keys (model(s) to be chosen
asynchronously), selecting evaluators, and provide shipping details to
robbat2 for Foundation purchase.

Action items:
- Council (async): Select 3-4 evaluators (one US-based) and finalize
  which model(s).
- Evaluators: Provide shipping details to robbat2 for ordering on
  Foundation card.
- Follow-up: If samples satisfactory, prepare vendor inquiry re:
  fulfillment / pricing portal (compare to Nitrokey arrangement).

- mgorny has pinged Codeberg regarding repository size constraints;
  awaiting response (ztrawhcse also in contact). Large repo size may
  limit feasibility. [7]
