Votes: 6 yes, 0 no, 0 abstained, 1 missing; motion approved Arch-status review ================== alpha: new upstream kernel maintainer who is also helping with Gentoo hppa: only hppa2.0 stages build via qemu m68k: "aligned" stage3 builds fine, oldstyle and musl are very flaky s390: both s390 and s390x stage builds hang for reasons unknown sparc: we're getting some help too, sparc64 builds, sparc32 is broken on qemu dilfridge indicated that s390 (31-bit) support will be deprecated in glibc in February 2026, and dropped in August. dilfridge also noted that all stages (modulo s390 and sparc32) for time64 are ready, and the next step is to perform the migration. arthurzam indicated that the arch testing containers can be recreated to use time64 on request. sam pointed out that he is seeing a growing number of time64 x86 users. dilfridge noted that the new releng builder, tintin, is installed and running. arthurzam asked whether loong and riscv are alive for AT work. sam pointed out that we had an offer for a loong machine, but we need to figure out whether to host it (provided the offer still stands). Open bugs with Council participation ==================================== Bug 936211 "[Tracker] Gentoo Foundation dissolution" [2] -------------------------------------------------------- robbat2 indicated that the taxes were submitted. dilfridge said he did not write the letter to the donors yet, but he did prepare logo branding for GRUB. Bug 946193 "[Future EAPI] Update Bash version to 5.3" [3] --------------------------------------------------------- The bug was marked RESOLVED/FIXED per being included in EAPI 9. Bug 961301 "[Tracker] Requests for metadata/AUTHORS" [4] -------------------------------------------------------- There were no pending requests on the tracker. Bug 961811 "Consider procuring Token2 PIN+ security keys for developers" [5] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- All testers confirmed received their keys. ulm indicated that we need some test schema. mgorny pointed out that his key is working great, and is a major improvement from Nitrokey. Bug 965878 "[TRACKER] Codeberg migration" [6] --------------------------------------------- mgorny pointed out most of the work is being done by laumann (big thanks!). sam pointed out that we need to start merging support.
